1. Who sells

The seller is shown below. In these terms, "we" means the seller.

A consumer is a natural person who buys for purposes outside their trade, business, craft or profession (art. 3 of the Italian Consumer Code). Withdrawal and the legal guarantee under the Consumer Code apply only to consumers.

How we handle your data is explained in the privacy notice.

2. What we sell

We sell objects 3D printed layer by layer in our workshop in Genoa. There are two ways to buy:

  • Catalogue products: the same for everyone. We print them after your order, and you can choose among the variants and colours shown on the product page.
  • Quoted jobs: parts printed from a file you send us, spare parts and repairs, objects we design at your request (3D modelling).

Layered prints have visible lines and the shade may vary slightly from one piece to the next. Photos are for illustration. Some products can be ordered only until the date shown on their page.

Products with magnets or small parts are not suitable for young children. The safety warnings are on the product page.

3. Prices, taxes and invoices

Prices are in euros and are final prices.

The total is the price of the products plus the shipping costs. You see it in the cart summary before you confirm, and again on the payment page. After you confirm we add no other costs. TODO-CONFIRM: stamp duty on invoices above 77,47 euro (absorbed by us or recharged, and in that case shown before payment: to decide with the accountant).

If you need an invoice, for example because you buy with a VAT number, write to us at [email protected] with your company name, VAT number, tax code and recipient code or PEC (certified email). TODO-CONFIRM: whether we issue an invoice to everyone or only on request, and by when it must be requested.

4. How to order a catalogue product

  1. Choose the product, the variant and the colour, and add it to the cart.
  2. In the cart, check the products, change the quantities or remove them. Below, enter your name, email and phone, choose shipping (to Italy or the European Union) or pickup in Genoa, enter the address and, if you like, the colours you prefer. There you see the total with shipping and the shipping time, and you accept these terms. You can correct your details until you press "Order and pay". When you press it, you place an order with an obligation to pay.
  3. Revolut's secure page opens, where you enter your payment details and pay.
  4. You receive our order confirmation by email, with the summary and the instructions for withdrawal.

The order you send is an offer to buy. The contract is concluded when you receive our order confirmation. If we cannot accept the order, for example because we cannot make it, we tell you and refund what you paid without delay.

You pay with the methods Revolut shows on the payment page. You enter your card details only on Revolut: we do not see them and do not store them. The contract is in Italian. We keep the order data for the period required by law, and you can ask us for a copy of the confirmation at any time.

5. Production and delivery times

We do not keep products in stock: we print them after you order. The production time is written on each product page. The courier's transit time comes on top of that. For quoted jobs, the times are those in our confirmation.

We deliver within the stated times and in any case no later than 30 days after the contract is concluded, unless we agree a different deadline with you (art. 61 of the Consumer Code).

If we do not deliver on time, you can ask us to deliver within an appropriate additional period. If that period also passes without delivery, you can terminate the contract and we refund everything you paid without delay (art. 61, paragraphs 3 and 6). In some cases the law lets you terminate the contract straight away, for example if you had told us that the delivery date was essential (art. 61, paragraphs 4 and 5).

The risk of loss of or damage to the parcel stays with us until you, or a person you name other than the courier, receive it (art. 63).

6. Shipping and pickup

We ship to Italy and the other countries of the European Union. The cost depends on the weight of the order and on the country, and you see it in the cart before you order. In Italy, shipping is free above a spending threshold shown in the cart. In the other countries of the European Union it costs 5 € more than the Italian rate and is never free. You can also collect your order free of charge in Genoa, by appointment. The details are on the page Shipping and returns.

7. Right of withdrawal

Who can withdraw

The right of withdrawal belongs to consumers. If you buy for your business, for example with a VAT number, it does not apply.

Catalogue products: 14 days

For catalogue products you have 14 days to change your mind, without giving any reason. The period starts on the day you, or a person you name other than the courier, receive the product. If you order several products together and they arrive on different days, it starts on the day you receive the last one (art. 52 of the Consumer Code).

How to withdraw

  1. Write to us before the 14 days run out, at [email protected] or by letter to Via della Libertà 56r-58r, 16129 Genova (GE), Italy. A clear statement that you want to withdraw is enough. You can use the withdrawal form, but you do not have to (art. 54).
  2. We confirm by email that we have received your notice.
  3. Send the product back without delay and in any case within 14 days of telling us you are withdrawing. You meet the deadline if you send it before the period ends (art. 57).
  4. We refund you within 14 days of learning that you want to withdraw. We may withhold the refund until we receive the product or you show us proof that you have sent it (art. 56).

It is up to you to prove that you withdrew in time: keep the email or the postage receipt (art. 54, paragraph 4).

You can also withdraw online, with the "Withdraw from the contract here" function on the page Withdrawal: after "Confirm withdrawal" we email you a receipt with the date and time (art. 54-bis of the Consumer Code).

Who pays for the return

You pay the direct cost of sending the product back to us (art. 57, paragraph 1). You can also bring it to us in Genoa by hand, by appointment, at no cost. We refund the standard shipping costs you paid to receive the order (art. 56).

How to return the product

Send the product back with all its parts, well packed. You can try it as you would in a shop, to see how it is made and how it works. If you use it in any other way and its value goes down, you are liable for the loss in value (art. 57, paragraph 2).

When withdrawal does not apply

Withdrawal does not apply to goods made to your specifications or clearly personalised (art. 59, paragraph 1, letter c). These are:

  • parts we print from your file or to your measurements;
  • objects we design at your request;
  • custom-made spare parts and repairs;
  • catalogue products you personalise, for example with a name, a date or a phrase to print.

Before you confirm a job of this kind, we tell you in writing that there is no right of withdrawal. Choosing a variant or a colour from those in the catalogue is not personalisation: the right of withdrawal still applies.

The shop has no personalisation options: an epitaph, a name or a date can only be ordered through a quote, as a custom job.

3D modelling

The modelling service has its own rules. You can withdraw within 14 days of the contract being concluded. If you ask us to start straight away, you must tell us so explicitly and acknowledge that, once the service is complete, you can no longer withdraw (art. 51, paragraph 8, and art. 59, paragraph 1, letter a). If you withdraw after we have started, you pay an amount in proportion to the work already done (art. 57, paragraph 3). TODO-CONFIRM: how to handle contracts that combine modelling and custom printing.

8. Legal guarantee of conformity

If you are a consumer, we are liable by law for any lack of conformity that exists when we deliver the product and becomes apparent within 24 months of delivery (art. 133 of the Consumer Code). If the defect appears within 12 months, it is presumed to have existed at delivery, unless proven otherwise (art. 135).

A product is in conformity if it matches the description, has the expected quantity and quality, comes with the expected accessories and instructions, and is fit for any particular purpose you told us about at the latest when ordering and that we accepted. It must also have the features you can expect from an object of the same type (art. 129).

What you can ask for

  • Repair or replacement, as you choose, free of charge. The remedy you choose must not be impossible or cost us disproportionately more than the other (art. 135-bis, paragraph 2). We carry it out within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you (art. 135-ter).
  • A proportionate price reduction, or termination of the contract with a refund, if we cannot repair or replace, if we do not do so, if the defect comes back or if it is serious enough to justify it. You cannot terminate the contract if the defect is minor (art. 135-bis, paragraphs 4 and 5, and art. 135-quater).

We pay the cost of getting the product back to us: if we replace it, we take back the faulty piece at our expense, and if you terminate the contract you return it at our expense (art. 135-ter, paragraph 2, and art. 135-quater, paragraph 4).

How to make a claim

Write to us at [email protected] with the order number, a description of the defect and a few photos. The sooner we know, the sooner we can act. You do not need a form.

The guarantee does not cover damage caused by knocks, falls, excessive heat, use other than the intended one or normal wear. After your purchase you can write to us for help with using and caring for the object. We offer no commercial guarantee beyond the legal one.

If you buy for your business

The Consumer Code guarantee does not apply. The Civil Code warranty against defects in goods sold applies instead: you must report the defect within 8 days of discovering it, and the claim is time-barred one year after delivery (arts. 1490 and 1495 of the Italian Civil Code).

9. Damaged, incomplete or late parcel

Check the parcel when you receive it. If it is damaged, accept it with reservation by writing so on the courier's delivery document, and photograph the parcel and its contents. Then write to us at [email protected] with the order number. Please do this as soon as possible and, if you can, within 8 days of delivery, because the courier has its own deadlines for claims. This request does not limit your legal rights.

Until delivery the risk is ours (art. 63). We deal with the courier. The remedy is free for you: we reprint and resend the product or, if that is not possible, we refund you.

If something is missing from the parcel or the product is different from the one you ordered, write to us: we put it right at no cost to you. If the parcel does not arrive, write to us with the order number: we check the tracking with the courier and the remedies in section 5 apply.

For defects in the product, the legal guarantee in section 8 applies.

10. Intellectual property and files you upload

What you buy

With a catalogue product you buy the physical object. You do not receive the print files, and you have no right to mass-produce it, sell copies of it or publish the files.

The texts, photos and graphics on the site are ours or we use them with permission. You may not copy or reuse them without our consent, except where the law allows it.

What you send us

When you send us a 3D file, a photo or a drawing for a quote, you declare that you have the right to have it printed: you created it, you own it, or you have the owner's permission or a licence that allows physical copies to be made. If the file reproduces other people's works, trademarks, characters or designs, we need the permission of whoever holds the rights. You are responsible for what you declare.

If we have doubts about your rights, we may ask you for proof or refuse the job before starting it. In that case we charge you nothing.

The 3D models we design at your request stay in our archive, for reprints. If you want to receive the file, we discuss it separately and put the agreement in writing.

How we handle your files is explained in the privacy notice. We do not use them to train artificial intelligence systems.

If you think something on the site infringes one of your rights, write to us at [email protected].

11. What we do not print

We do not accept jobs in these categories, and we may refuse them before starting:

  • weapons and firearm parts;
  • copies of products, trademarks, characters or designs protected by other people's rights, without the permission of whoever holds them;
  • files you do not hold the rights to;
  • parts for uses where a failure could hurt someone: brakes and steering, climbing or fall-arrest equipment, child seats and restraints, pressurised parts, medical devices, toys for children under 3, and in general parts that someone's safety depends on;
  • objects meant to come into contact with food (we never state that a 3D print is food safe);
  • any object that the law forbids making or selling.

If we refuse a job before starting it, we charge you nothing.

12. Strength and materials

A 3D print is made in layers. Its strength depends on the material, the wall thickness, the infill, the print orientation and how you use it.

We recommend the material and settings based on the use you describe to us. We do not state guaranteed loads or forces. A particular purpose counts only if you told us about it at the latest when ordering and we accepted it (art. 129 of the Consumer Code). If you describe a use to us, we tell you whether we can accept it.

Materials have limits. PLA, for example, softens with heat: do not leave it in a car in the sun or near heat sources. The product page or the quote gives the guidance for the chosen material.

13. Quotes and custom jobs

Estimate and final price

The quote tool calculates an estimate from the file or the data you enter. The estimate is a price range, not a final price.

When you press "Richiedi conferma" (ask for confirmation), we check the request and, within 24 working hours, we send you the final price, the times and the conditions. Until that confirmation, neither you nor we are bound.

The final price may fall outside the range if the file differs from the one analysed (for example wrong units of measurement or missing parts) or if more work is needed. We tell you before starting, and you decide whether to go ahead.

We start after you accept the final price and pay through the Revolut payment link we email you.

Your file

We print the file as you send it. We do not check that the design works for the use you will make of it: we point out the printing problems we see. 3D prints have dimensional tolerances, so if the part has to fit with other objects, write the critical measurements in the notes.

3D modelling

If you do not have a file, we propose a modelling fee. The quote tool shows it as a range, and we confirm it in writing before starting. It includes one round of revisions. Later changes are paid separately, at the hourly rate shown in the quote.

Withdrawal and delivery

For custom-made goods there is no right of withdrawal (section 7). We repeat this in the quote confirmation, before you accept. The delivery times are those written in the confirmation.

14. Orders for adults only

Orders are for people aged 18 or over, the age at which you acquire legal capacity (art. 2 of the Italian Civil Code). If you are under 18, ask a parent or your legal representative to order for you.

15. Complaints and support

To make a complaint, write to [email protected], call +39 347 119 2176 or send us a letter at Via della Libertà 56r-58r, 16129 Genova (GE), Italy. We reply within 2 working days.

We have not joined an alternative dispute resolution (ADR) body. If a complaint is not resolved, we tell you in writing whether we intend to use an ADR body (art. 141-sexies of the Consumer Code). You can always go to court.

16. Governing law and jurisdiction

Italian law governs the contracts. If you are a consumer living in another country of the European Union, this choice does not deprive you of the protection that the law of your country does not allow to be excluded (art. 6 of Regulation (EU) 593/2008).

If you are a consumer, disputes go before the court of the place where you live or are domiciled, if it is in Italy (art. 66-bis of the Consumer Code). If you live in another country of the European Union, you can also sue us before the courts of your country, and we can sue you only there (art. 18 of Regulation (EU) 1215/2012). If you buy for your business, the ordinary rules on jurisdiction apply.

17. Changes to these terms

Each order is governed by the terms in force on the day you place it. If we change them, the new terms apply only to later orders (art. 49, paragraph 5, of the Consumer Code). When you order, we recommend that you save or print these terms.
